In Memoriam
Randal Blankenship
1950 - 2023
Winston-Salem Tennis lost board member, Randal Blankenship, in August 2023 to Lou Gehrig's Disease. Randal served on the board for many years and had previously held the role of President of the Board. His passion for the game of tennis and for the Winston-Salem tennis community was inspiring. He was a joy to know and we will all miss him deeply. At the request of Randal's family, a Randal Blankenship Scholarship Fund has been established to help get more people playing tennis.
In 2023, this fund will be used for Try Tennis scholarships. Donations can be made using PayPal or checks can be mailed to Winston-Salem Tennis, Inc., P.O. Box 5421, Winston-Salem, NC 27113. Learn more
