Winston-Salem Family Tennis

Winston-Salem Tennis, Inc. is happy to announce our newest program, Winston-Salem Family Tennis! This program is designed to introduce tennis to families, especially the Hispanic community, by engaging both parents and children in a welcoming, supportive, and affordable environment.

 

Kickoff Event

​

The program begins with a Kickoff Event, open to parents and kids of all ages and skill levels. This fun, interactive event introduces families to tennis through basic skill activities, games, and demos led by trained instructors, including one fully bilingual. Participants learn about the program structure, tennis opportunities, and the physical, social, and family benefits of tennis.

Time: 2:00 to 4:00 pm.

Four Weeks of FREE Instruction (Try Tennis)

​

Weekly free instruction sessions will be provided that focus on fundamental skills, using age-appropriate drills. Instruction is provided separately for kids and parents at the same time and location, while encouraging shared play and family bonding. 

​

Date: 4 Sundays, March 22nd thru April 19th skipping Easter Sunday

Time: 4:00 to 5:30 pm

 

Continued low-cost instruction (Try Play and Try Match)

​

An eight-week low-cost beginner Try Play and Try Match program specifically targeting these participants starts immediately after the conclusion of the four free weeks.  This program valued at $110 for 12 hours of instruction, could be offered at a discounted rate based on financial need.
