Young Folks Tennis

Young Folks Tennis is our signature program that began over 50 years ago to introduce the game of tennis to youngsters in our community.

Young Folks Tennis offers
FREE lessons to youth ages 6-14 with little to no experience playing tennis.  Sessions are usually held on Saturday mornings, run for approximately 4 weeks, and are taught by local tennis professionals and volunteers.  Sessions are hosted by several locations in and around Winston-Salem, NC throughout the year.  See the information below and be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the most up-to-date information on current Young Folks Tennis sessions. Registration is required.

After attending a series of Young Folks Tennis lessons, players interested in continuing tennis can choose from a number of local programs designed to develop their tennis skills. Check out our opportunities for youth play on this page and see the Community page for a more extensive listing of area tennis facilities and programs.
