Winston-Salem Tennis, Inc. is expanding access to the game through its blind and low vision tennis clinics, creating opportunities for athletes with visual impairments to learn and enjoy the sport in an inclusive environment.

 

Following a training session hosted on October 3rd, the program has welcomed three athletes and hosted three clinics, with additional sessions scheduled for October 31st and November 7th at Taylor Tennis Center.

 

The program is supported through a partnership with Winston-Salem State University’s Recreational Therapy faculty and students, with efforts underway to establish an additional partnership with IFB Solutions.
