The 2025 National Champions' season returns with two home court wins to start off their 2026 season, defeating Saint Joseph's (7-0) and ETSU (4-0) this past weekend.

The Wake Forest University Men’s Tennis Team capped off a remarkable 2025 season by winning the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis National Championship, defeating No. 2-seeded TCU 4–2 in the title match at the Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas on May 18, 2025. This triumph marked the second NCAA team title in program history, their first coming in 2018.

Under the direction of head coach Tony Bresky, the Demon Deacons completed a dominant 40-1 season that included an unprecedented perfect regular season, a program and ACC record for single-season wins, and a victory in the ITA National Indoor Championship earlier in the year.

In the national final, Wake Forest secured the doubles point and then earned key singles victories to claim the championship over a strong TCU squad. The win also contributed to a successful season that saw the Deacs notch numerous top-10 wins and assert themselves as one of college tennis’s elite teams. This national title represents the 11th team championship in Wake Forest athletics history and solidifies the men’s tennis program’s place among the sport’s most consistent contenders.
