USTA PLAYERS IN THE HOUSE! Did you play on a USTA Yadkin league team in 2022 or have you signed up for USTA Yadkin Spring league in 2023?? We'll buy you a drink! Stop by the Winston-Salem Tennis table to check-in and show us your team info on the Tennis Link app. Yadkin players will receive one drink ticket and one raffle ticket! USTA Yadkin captains from 2022 and 2023 will receive two drink tickets and two raffle tickets! We celebrate all USTA Yadkin players and captains and look forward to a fantastic new year on the court with you!
WE WANT NEW PLAYERS! THAT MEANS YOU! There are over 600 unique USTA league players in the USTA "Yadkin" area. From Kernersville, to King, to Winston-Salem, to Davie, and Statesville. We know that there is a team, a league, a lesson and a clinic for you. For the 2023 Kickoff party, we have invited area tennis pros and will have a collection of information on what our area has to offer on the courts. Try Tennis is an excellent opportunity to learn and to begin playing tennis. It is a wonderful starting point for new players and a perfect precursor for USTA League play. Local players love the comradery and competition of USTA leagues and we want new players to join in the fun! USTA Southern is offering young adults yet another reason to try USTA league play with a $50 voucher for eligible new players ages 18-35! COME OUT TO HELP US GROW THE GAME OF TENNIS! We know there are tennis players who love the challenge of a difficult game, some love the competition, some love the workout (we see you singles players/cardio clinic fans), some love the comradery and the team aspect, some love informal hitting with friends, some played in high school or college and are wondering how to get back in the game, and some are wondering if pickleball's older, quieter cousin could be the game for them. The greater Winston-Salem area has beautiful tennis facilities and top-quality pros to help at any level. No matter why you play tennis or why you're looking to play, we know we can find a good option for everyone on the court in 2023. Winston-Salem Tennis challenges every current player to come out to Incendiary on March 4th and to bring a friend to the 2023 Kickoff Party. We want to grow the game and we need your help. So, for every player that brings a friend that signs up for our mailing list, you and the friend get one extra raffle ticket. Bring a friend who signs up for Try Tennis or Young Adult Friday Night League, you and the friend get two extra raffle tickets. TENNIS FOR ALL AGES! Yes, USTA Yadkin has leagues for every level; from beginners to pros. And, yes, USTA Yadkin has league play for adults ages 18+, 40+, 55+, and 65+. But, what about the kids? Winston-Salem Tennis offers Young Folks Tennis, a FREE program to youth ages 6-14 with little to no experience playing tennis. Sessions are usually held on Saturday mornings, run for approximately 4 weeks, and are taught by local tennis professionals and volunteers. Sessions are hosted by several locations in and around Winston-Salem, NC throughout the year. More info will be available at the 2023 Kickoff Party. If you are an adult that loves match play, the kids may love Junior Team Tennis. This program is a FUN, level-based team competition for kids of all ages and abilities. There are tons of tennis opportunities for youth in our area, and at the 2023 Kickoff Party, our players and pros can help you find a program that is the right fit. Come out and talk to us, and we can help you get in the game!
There is truly something for everyone on the tennis court in the Winston-Salem area in 2023.
